CIMS&R Institute of Training and Research, is a premier R&D Centre in the city, registered under the society “J.J. Educational Institute”, Dehradun, an educational society registered under the Indian society registration act 1860 since 2002. CIMS&R is equipped with state of art laboratory and a multidisciplinary team of authorities guiding and channelizing students to the level best. It is a self-financing institute in Uttarakhand state attached with 450 bedded multi-speciality indoor hospitals. The CIMS&R is affiliated to the prestigious Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University and is approved by Government of Uttarakhand, Nursing Council of India, New Delhi and Indian Association of Physiotherapists.

Project/ Dissertation work is not only the essential part of a degree program but also a gateway for better career opportunities. The importance of the thesis or dissertation in the educational experience of the undergraduate/graduate or post graduate student should not be underestimated. Choosing a topic is not important, but what had been found in the research are the significant things. And also, how one writes the dissertation proposal is also crucial. He has total experience of more than 10 years of teaching and research in Biochemistry and has been associated with CIMS&R since 2019. He has published 08 research papers, 02 book chapters, 02 gene sequences in SCI-Index, peer reviewed journals. He always put his efforts towards the overall developments of his students. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. He has gained valuable teaching and research experience and worked at the prestigious Biochemistry laboratory in BHU, Varanasi and CSIR-CDRI, Lucknow. His dedication to professional growth is evident through his continuous pursuit of training and development opportunities. He has enhanced his skills in areas such as Parasite biology, biochemistry, recombinant DNA technology, Proteomics, Immunodiagnostics and In-silico studies. This diverse range of expertise reflects his commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in his field. He has received more than 4 research grants from UCOST and USERC, government of Uttarakhand. He brings an honest and dedicated approach to his work, ensuring that he delivers the highest quality of education to his students.

Hands on Training
We offer various hands on short-term training program in Life Science. These short terms training are geared for academically determined students and research candidates. We assist students in bettering their understanding on a scientific problem and formulating the projects according to it.
As part of our commitment to human resources development for Life Science, Medical Science, Industries and Organizations, the training programmes offered by institute are completely practical oriented, providing the key concepts and high-end principle level protocols which ultimately results in trainee are getting acquainted with the sophisticated equipment and the ability to interpret the experimental data.
Summer & Vocational Training are framed as a learning programme for all the basics of life sciences laboratories including biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology and pharmaceutical sciences
Ph.D & Research Work Facilities
CIMS&R Institute of Training & Research is a well-equipped laboratory with all the basic and advance instrumentation of life science research. We provide full guidance and support for the candidates to do their own research work for carrying out their own Ph.D. We had got experts for the Ph.D scholars for troubleshooting in the research work and to guide throughout the whole work as well.

Students are also encouraged to use library facilities during their free time with their lab work.

CIMS&R Institute of Training & Research provide different programme like Industrial visit, sample collection & literature survey during dissertation period, visit for instrumentation in different organization. CIMS&R Institute of Training & Research also provide visit in seminars, workshops/Symposium, conferences, Guest Lectures for training & researcher. CIMS&R Institute of Training & Research also organize different social awareness free programme like general health check-up, physiotherapy camp, blood group camp, social awareness in poor and low socioeconomic community under the “J.J. educational Institute”.
