Activities
Extracurricular activities during the academic year are important contributions to an individual's development. Experience in medical and paramedical areas often contributes to an understanding of health care delivery systems and helps the student's to study medicine. Intercollegiate / interdepartmental debate, quiz and science exhibition competitions in the Institute Campus are organized for UG & PG students every year. The winners are suitably rewarded in terms of either cash prizes or with some token of gifts / momentous with Certificates of Merit. Apart from above competitive events, the students are also encouraged to visit scientific organization. The Committee is comprised of teaching faculty from each department as a member, similarly each Division is represented by one senior member.
The students are encouraged to participate in various cultural competitions at state and national level. Students have won several prizes at Inter-College/University cultural competition and brought laurels to the institute.
A spacious playground in an area of over 15,000 sq-mtr is available at new campus for outdoor games like football, cricket, basketball etc. Regular sports events are organized by the institute with annual sports week & Inter-Institute Sports Competitions.
A healthy body consists a healthy mind. The institute endeavors for an overall personality development for it's students. To achieve this goal, the institute looks forward to provide a variety of extracurricular activities in the form of cultural programmes, dramatics, debates, seminars, elocution, quiz context etc. Knowledge, it is said is power, keeping this in mind, the institute provides an opportunity for every student to develop the habit of composing and writing articles, group discussion and publications etc in order to built confidence and self esteem. The institute organises excursions and academic tours to the best of the hospitals, institutions, research centers etc. CIMS shall be among the few educational enterprises in the private sector to be so credited.
